My wife and I just had a wonderful stay at the Birkdale Guesthouse over Christmas. The hosts, Joe & Julia are so sweet and caring, and make a nice full English breakfast too! Accommodations were cosy and had everything we needed. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay was well above expectations. Whenever we're in the area we'll definitely be back! Would highly recommend!
I stayed here for two nights as I was in the area to photograph a friends wedding. If I am ever in the area again I would not hesitate to re-book a room. The owner of the guest house was friendly, welcoming and very informative. The rooms were of a very high standard. Clean and tidy, plenty of room and most importantly comfortable beds! The choice of food for breakfast was varied, with vegetarian options and of a very good quality. The lounge was also spacious with a good selection of books and leaflets with information about local attractions. I would definitely recommend a stay here, thank you again for a wonderful two nights.
Lovely breakfast. The room was clean and the decor was lovely. The only thing could have a bigger television on the wall .thank you to Joe and Julie . Very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again.
